I try to capture the beauty of the natural world in my landscape and still life paintings. I am passionate about bringing emotions to life through vibrant colors, light and shadow, textures and intricate details. My art is a reflection of moments that inspire me, aiming to connect with viewers on a personal level.
I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and I also took classes in creamics at the School for American Craftsmen, in Rochester, NY. I worked as a graphic designer in the computer interface field since 1985 but my true passion is fine art. I am finally turning my attention to my fine art, full time.
I've been painting and drawing since I was a child. This portfolio includes my work over many years, both recent and and from when I was a teenager. Both of my parents were artists. My father is a sculptor and my mother was a painter, so I was encouraged at an early age to hone my skills. That is a never ending process as I continue to learn from other artists.
